Underground pipes will either be part of your sewer system or stormwater system. As you can imagine, stormwater burst are typically a bit nicer to work with for both yourself and us, but hey, we will always help!

What Causes a Drain Pipe to Burst?
Sewer pipes can burst from many causes including:
- Foreign materials being flushed down the toilet, such as face wipes, paper towel, sanitary items and nappies (yes people DO put these down the toilet. NO you are not supposed to!)
- Broken pipes
- Poor water flow.
Stormwater pipes can burst caused by:
- Heavy rains and storms which overwhelm the system
- Gutters & Downpipes full of debris, causing them not to efficiently function.
