What is a certificate of Compliance? 

A certificate of Compliance refers to a verification for licensed plumbers which is distributed by the Victorian Building Authority (VBA). This certificate is extremely valuable, as it is an indication that the work completed complies with all relevant plumbing standards, rules and regulations.

Once a plumber has completed has completed specific plumbing work, plumbers must then send compliance certificates to both the Victorian Building Authority and also the person who has had the works completed.

 

Certificates of compliances are given for work within the following categories:

• Water Supply

• Hot Water
