Gallant Plumbing was recently called out to a site in Abbotsford to repair a roof leak. We were tasked with the roof leak repair and investigation in Abbotsford. The worst was on the first story behind the house, followed by a few on the second storey. This was followed by a request of a gutter clean while we were investigating the roof as well.
Knowing this insight, our roof plumber took straight to the gutters as he thought this may be the cause of the first leak. The cracks in the render and the gutter had accumulated dirt overtime which corroded the gutter. After some debris removal and a washdown to check leaks again our plumber sealed the cracks with silicone and the rusted sections of the gutter had fill coat applied.
Our plumber was in need of a 3 storey ladder to ensure he could safely get to the affected area. Luckily our plumber was equipped with one, so he wasted no time on the job. We found another leak on the right side of the second storey. This was due to cracks in the render. Same as before we sealed these off with silicone and our plumber also sealed off a join inbox gutter.
A final collection of rubbish and debris on the roof and gutters that had been cleaned was done. Our plumber also set up a quote to repair the box gutter to keep all roof repairs in check and running smoothly in the future.
