Residential Plumbing in St Kilda
Recently, our expert plumbing team at Gallant Plumbing was called out to a site for residential plumbing in St Kilda. These jobs included gas works and an emergency call out. A large gas cooker supplied by our customer was to be installed by our expert gas fitters. A gas pressure test was performed before and after the installation as a safety measure. Then the gas pressure was measured, the cooktop was connected to the existing gas line. It was here we realised the existing gas line needed to have the gas pressure regulator readily accessible and a gas shut off valve installed. Our expert plumber also performed a burner pressure test and had the old appliances removed from the site.
Following up on from this job our team of plumbing experts at Gallant Plumbing were called back out to St Kilda after hours. The customer’s apartment had flooded due to a Flexi connector that had burst at the basin. Water had started to come through the ceiling into the property and caused the circuit breaker to trip in the apartment below it. The customer had managed to isolate the water and the area was then made safe to dry. Then the hot water Flexi connectors at the basin were replaced and the cold water Flexi connector was checked as well. Finally, our friendly plumbers helped clean the shower trap of the apartment below our customer’s apartment as well.
