Next our plumber cut the bench tops to fit the new basins as it was slightly larger. Before installing the new basins, he added new mixer taps and pop up wastes. He noticed a slight gap in another plumber’s previous work and applied silicone along the wall and splash back. Followed by applying silicone to the basin to position it correctly.

Before leaving it is essential to check the waste and water and working in the intended way. A little trick our plumber has learnt along the way to fill the sink up after using silicone. Advising the client to leave it there for an hour to add weight without damaging the porcelain while the silicone sets. Of course, advising the client to wait 24 hours before putting the basins to proper use.
