Leak Investigations in Armadale
Recently, our expert plumbers at Gallant Plumbing were called out for some leak investigations in Armadale for a possible water leak in the wall. Then the site was inspected by our professional plumbers by breaking through the plaster and brickwork on level 1. Afterwards a burst copper pipe that was 500mm into the cavity was located. Although it was unable to be repaired from the hallway, our plumbing experts identified that they could repair the burst pipe by breaking the external face of the building.
The next day, our expert plumbers removed the brickwork on the outside wall above the main entrance to reveal the burst 20mm copper pipe. Then the water was isolated and a section of the copper pipe was cut and replaced. Finally, the water was turned back on and a new section of copper was tested.
To finish things off our professional plumbers checked for any leaks and none were found. Next the brickwork was reinstalled and ready for rendering to repair the damage made from repairing the burst pipe. This meant the job could be closed off and another Gallant customer has been satisfied.
