The difference between sewer & stormwater systems

Need some clarity? You have come to the right place! First things first; there is a difference between your sewer & stormwater systems! Your sewer system is made up of all the pipes from your bathroom, kitchen and laundry. They transfer sewerage to waste facilities where it is filtered and treated. Your stormwater system consists of gutters, downpipes, pits and drains that collect and carry rainwater away from your house. This water is not treated and goes straight into local water catchments.
