Hot Water Service in Windsor

Gallant Plumbing were recently called out to a hot water service in Windsor. We sent out best Melbourne plumber to solve the issue.

Once our Melbourne plumber arrived onsite, he found that the left-hand hot water system (HWS) that services the kitchen was cold and had a temperature display of 24 degrees. As a result, our best plumber tested the HWS and found that the hot surface ignition was faulty and not glowing when heating was being called on the system.

Continuing on, our plumber rang the supplier to check if the part was still under warranty and was told that the part carries a 12-month warranty. Our best Melbourne plumber then went to the supplier to collect the new part and install it. Once the system was recommissioned, our Melbourne plumber found that it started up normally again.

The system began heating up normally again, and our best plumber waited until the system had heated up to 59 Degrees. During this he also checked that the hot waterways were running well inside the kitchen. All seemed to be perfect. However, our plumber noticed that the water was taking a long time to flow hot at some of the taps. This is due to the circulation pump on the system outside at the HWS having failed.

Finally, our best Melbourne plumber recommended replacing the unit, in which was done successfully.
