Blocked Drain in Springvale

Gallant Plumbing were recently called out to a blocked drain in Springvale. We sent our best Melbourne plumber to solve the issue.

Firstly, our best plumber began investigating the blocked toilet and completed exploratory works outside the premises to try and access the drain system. Following on, our plumber then attempted to plunge the toilet. However, water was then pushing back through a tundish and back up into a basin.

Our Melbourne plumber contacted the client, and notified them that because of the inability to access the drain system, we would need to remove the toilet pan that was cemented in to get access to the drain. Once the approval was granted, we chipped around the toilet pan and removed the toilet.

To clear the blockage, our best Melbourne plumber used the sewer machine with the small corkscrew, the diamond shaped head and the cutter. As a result, we managed to remove the blockage. It looked to be hand towels that were flushed down the toilet. 

After the blockage was cleared and the drain was tested numerous times, the pan was reinstalled. The screws around the pan were fastened, and the bottom was sealed with T Rex sealant. 

To finish, our best plumber then flushed the toilet numerous times to check for leaks and to make sure the drain was open. After that was confirmed, our Melbourne plumber cleaned up the area and informed the client of the fixes.
