Blocked Drain In Doncaster

Gallant arrived at the blocked drain job in Doncaster and set up the CCTV investigation in the main pathway in front of the main building. After opening up the sewage pit in the middle of the main pathway outside the end of the path we used the jetting machine to drive the camera up the main drain. With multiple attempts the plumbers travelled the camera 20-25 meters. The jet just couldn’t drive any further through, this can be quite common with these types of plumbing services in Melbourne. We decided to set up another location to try and proceed further with the CCTV investigation.

 

 

In the new location our Melbourne plumbers set the jet and got the camera to 27m down before hitting another pit. Locating and adapting to pit placement is a daily struggle when attempting to fix blocked rains in Melbourne. Following this we got permission from the client to excavate the manhole shaft lid. It was from here that our go-to blocked drain plumber in Melbourne finally established the last pits needed after chipping away the manhole lid which was rusted over.

 

 

This will be an ongoing search so we can eventually dig in the only location there is actually a blockage. From there we will cut and take away the affected areas and replace the pieces the same day.
