This was what was causing the water hammer and the tap to continually run. Then the technician was able to retrieve some new soft-close washers from their van. He then fixed the residents issue in a timely manner. A new soft-close washer was installed in both the hot and cold side of the tap to eliminate the existing water hammer. A new spindle extension was also installed in an attempt to lock on the tap hoods. Finally, the hoods were sealed to the wall with white bathroom silicone and the job was completed within two hours.
Impressed with the bathroom repair we provided, the client requested a quote to replace the entire bathroom basin to improve the functionality and aesthetic of the bathroom.
