Afterwards, to fix the problem, the team isolated the water and then removed the existing RPZ by undoing the barrel unions at both ends of the valve. Following that, they removed the part of the barrel union from the old RPZ and then fitted it to the new valve. After refitting the new RPZ into place, they turned it back on and tested out if there are any other leakages. Then, they tested to see if the back flow issue is still persisting using a back flow testing device which showed a positive outcome. Thus, they proceed to finalise the related paperwork.
