Hot Water Plumber in Brighton
Gallant Plumbing had a recent job to attend for their hot water plumber in Brighton. The hot water plumber was informed that the communal hot water service is locked up and needed accessing. Once access was attained investigations on the unit began.
Our best plumber was notified that water was going cold between 10am and 8pm. Gaining access to the hot water service room and neighbouring rooms, the hot water plumber checked both units and found them to be working. Our Melbourne plumber inspected the circulation pump and found it to be working as expected. He noticed an old time clock had been removed from the isolation switch board within the hot water room.
Our hot water plumber then repaired both cold water isolation valves stuffing boxes to stop minor water leaks. Gaining access to the double garage was important as this was where the circulation pump time clock is located. The plumber found general lighting electrical smart meters which was likely to still be controlling the circulation pump run times, in turn affecting the hot water production. To change anything like this, the help of an electrician is required. In a final attempt to rectify the issue, the plumber opened and drained the PTR valve drain pipe.
The plumber advised the client that further works may be required by an electrician to help change the settings on the circulation pump. Our hot water plumber was able to eliminate the possible issue of the system possessing faults, so if issues are to persist, he would organise an electrician to inspect with him.
