Blocked Drain in Blackburn

Our team at Gallant Plumbing were called out to a blocked drain in Blackburn. We sent our best Melbourne plumber to fix the issue right away.

Upon arrival, the client showed our plumber where the bathroom that had the problem was. Firstly, our plumber tested the toilets and found that it was blocked, and there was no access to the sewer from outside the building.

As a result of this our Melbourne plumber removed the toilet and used the sewer machine. Our plumber pushed 3 leads down and it started to flow. The plumber then put the camera down only to find that there was still more paper towel in the line.

A final inspection of the line found that the line is very flat and holding water in areas mainly underneath the sink in the kitchen. Further down the line there is a break or misalignment which is catching toilet paper.

                         

Finally, our plumber explained to the client that this needs to be repaired. Our Melbourne plumber also advised Anna that the toilet paper that they are using is leading to issues as the paper is not breaking apart. It is acting more like hand towels and bunching together and blocking the sewer.
